Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority have requested that two trees recently cut down on Tenby's South Parade be reinstated. This is despite a local councillor's request to keep the view of the historic Five Arches unobscured. Clr. Mrs. Caroline Thomas had told her colleagues at a previous meeting of the town council that since the two trees were removed by Pembrokeshire County Council, the view of the Five Arches had improved dramatically. However, at Tuesday's meeting, the town clerk informed members that the authorities wished to see the trees remain.
