The Sounds Fantastic concert, heled recently in support of Narberth Swimming Pool, has been hailed a great success. The concert was organised by Narberth and District Rotary Club at Rhos-y-Gilwen and provided an opportunity for talented young musicians to display their skills to an enthralled audience. Aged between 10 and 17, they sang and played their instruments with great enthusiasm and poise under the musical direction of Mr. Trystan Phillips, head of music at Ysgol y Preseli. Sue Rees (Mayor of Narberth, and chair of the Friends of Narberth Pool) thanked Robbie Burns (president of the Rotary Club) for organising the event and dedicating the proceeds to supporting efforts to avoid closure of the Narberth Swimming Pool. The Mayor also praised the musicians and thanked their parents, teachers and accompanists for making this superb event possible.
