With the commencement of Narberth Civic Week, I thought it appropriate to write at this time.
As winners of several categories at last year's carnival, I would like to inform readers that a substantial amount of the winnings have been given to local charities. As a group, we felt this would benefit everyone in the county, albeit indirectly.
As the prize money has been increased significantly for 2009, this might be something this year's winners may consider, as we all look forward to an enjoyable, successful Narberth carnival.
