The wedding took place at St. Mary's RC Church, Pembroke Dock, on Saturday, of Mr. Gareth Glyn Lewis and Miss Laura Nesta Silcox The groom, a solicitor, is the eldest son of Alan and Myfanwy Lewis, of 14 Westhill, Lamphey, while the bride, a teacher, is the only daughter of Keith and Maria Silcox, of 5 Imble Close, Pembroke Dock. Given away by her father, the bride wore a soft gold gown with a beaded bodice and ribbon edged organza skirt with a bow, and carried a bouquet of flame calla lilies and leonardis and aquito roses. Bridesmaids were Anna Charlett (bride's cousin who had travelled from Perth, Western Australia, for the wedding), and Claire McGovern (bride's friend). Best man was Simon Cole (groom's friend) and the ushers were Jason and William Silcox (bride's brothers) and Martyn Lewis (groom's brother). After the ceremony, which was conducted by Father John Dermody, a reception was held at St. Bride's Hotel, Saundersfoot. The couple are honeymooning in the Bahamas and will be making their home in Caerphilly.
