A Pembrokeshire bay has received a makeover thanks to help from local soldiers. The soldiers from the 14 Signal Regiment, Brawdy, played a major role in a recent beach clean at Bullslaughter Bay and Frainslake Beach on the Castlemartin Range. Lynne Ferrand, the ranger for Castlemartin, who organised the clean-up, said: "The soldiers from 14 Signals Regiment did an outstanding job clearing away such a large quantity of rubbish from these remote beaches, the majority of which was plastic containers, bottles and fishing nets. The range staff from Landmarc also played a vital part in hauling the bags of rubbish to the top of the cliff." The beach clean-up was the second rubbish clearing operation organised by Lynne and the Ministry of Defence within the last three years.
