Tenby Junior School's first game of the South Pembrokeshire Urdd Football Tournament was against Hakin (writes Chris Heesom). We thought they would be a tough side, but we beat them 3-0.
Then we had to play Pennar. They were a good side and we drew 0-0.
After Pennar we faced the unbeaten Grove team, we played really well and beat them 3-1.
Our fourth game was against Pembroke Dock. After a shaky start, Rhys and Toby scored to win 2-0.
Our toughest game yet was against Milford Haven. They had some exciting players, but we battled through to win 3-2. This game ensured that we were in the final.
Our final group game was against St. Francis. Darryl scored four goals and we won 5-0.
The final was against Orielton; we beat them convincingly 6-0.
It was a terrific tournament and all the boys played really well. We now go through to the next round as winners of South Pembrokeshire.
The Pembrokeshire finals will take place at Sir Thomas Picton, Haverfordwest.
Squad: Toby Smith, Rhys Winter, Chris Heesom, Henry Lawrence, Kiefer Thomson, Alex Harley, William Hughes, Lloyd Thomas, Darryl Mansbridge, Matthew Davies.
