The Gordon Hill Soccer School at The Clicketts playing fields last week proved to be a great success as schoolchildren turned up in their droves during half-term week to get professional coaching from some well-known names.
On the first day (Tuesday) alone, a total of 107 children turned up, meaning the coaches certainly had their hands full.
Over the three days, the number of young footballers became more manageable and a great time was had by coaches and players alike.
Each budding premiership star was presented with a Gordon Hill Soccer School t-shirt for completing the three days, along with a certificate.
There was a variety of age groups available and girls were as welcome as boys to learn the fine arts of the beautiful game from the professionals.
Group winners, Thomas Jones, Lloyd Hughes, Daryl Mansbridge and Daniel Stool are seen right receiving their best player awards from coaches, Gordon Hill, Brian Clark, Deryn Brace and Angela Nicholls.
