One of the favourite activities Guides and Brownies really enjoy are sleepovers. Recently, Saundersfoot Brownies had a brilliant time during a sleepover in Saundersfoot.
As soon as they had set up their beds for the night, they walked to the 'Babes in the Wood' at the Regency Hall, which was great fun. Feeling really tired - so we thought - we arrived back, just to find that the fresh air had given them new life, so they had a few sleeping bag races.
Next morning, while the coffee morning was being set up, they set off on a 'Bug Trail' around the village. These are 'Reach out and Recruit' bugs (look out for more) which are advertising the new recruitment drive. As soon as they had packed their bags, mums and dads and friends were invited for coffee and the excited girls sold their Christmas crafts.
The new Guiding Recruitment Drive is aimed at adults and children in the area; especially adults, as we have packs and units full to overflowing. If you are interested in helping in any way, please don't hesitate to contact Marie Philpin Div. Comm (South) on 01834 812496 (Spar Store) or 01834 813168 (Home).
Thanks so much to mums, dads, friends, Mrs. Busby, Mick Booth, Cari Beynon, and the Spar Shop for helping with the groceries. Pictured are Jerry, Emma, Elenor, Bethany Kay and little Dominic.
