A successful skate-a-thon was held at Greenhill School, Tenby, on Sunday, to raise money for a skate park at the town's Jubilee Park.

Around 40 young people took part in the event which was held from 10 am - 4 pm.

Sponsorship money is now being counted and skaters are urged to hand their money in to the De Valence or Greenhill School within the next two weeks so a final figure can be calculated.

The organisers would like to thank everyone who took part and who kindly assisted, including St. Johns Ambulance, Pembroke Dock Youth Centre, Trueform, Friends of Greenhill for refreshements and Greenhill Comprehensive School for hosting the event.
