Six Pembrokeshire schoolboys have made it into the Dyfed U11s rugby team this season. It is the highest number ever from one year, from the county. The first West Wales trial was due to be held yesterday (Thursday).

Boys selected to represent Dyfed are: Hywel Baker (Pembroke Dock CP/Pembroke Dock Quins RFC) - second row or prop; Danny Wainwright (Lamphey CP/Pembroke Dock Quins RFC) - outside-half; Thomas Hughes (Neyland Junior/ Neyland RFC) - centre; Osian Edwards (Ysgol y Frenni/Crymych RFC) - fullback; Ryan Conbeer (St. Florence VC/Tenby Utd RFC) - wing; Kieran Griffiths (Fenton CP/Haverfordwest RFC) - centre, scrum-half.
