The training course for new football referees in Pembrokeshire has proved to be more than worthwhile as it has produced six new referees, some of whom have already officiated in their first matches.

League secretary Brian Hawkins said: "The six new referees will receive their certificates in January and we have decided to start a new course after Christmas."
