Married recently at Lawrenny Church were Mr. Adam Rowbotham and Miss Abby Williams. The groom is the son of Geoff and Joy Rowbotham, of Southampton, while the bride is the daughter of Keith and Dee Williams, of Garden Cottage, Lawrenny. The bride wore an ivory dress with satin bodice encrusted with pearls and diamante, with a layered net skirt, and carried a bouquet of red roses, mistletoe and ivy. Chief bridesmaid was Michelle Griffiths (friend of the bride), while the bridesmaids were Emma Brooks (groom's niece), Charlotte and Georgia (god-daughters of the bride), Olivia Monks (bride's cousin), Mena Williams (bride's niece). The older bridesmaids wore long red dresses with white fur jackets, while the younger bridesmaids wore ivory dresses with red satin cloaks edged with fur. Best man was Gareth Williams, of Llanreath, while the ushers were Gareth Griffiths, Steve Gunn, and Nicholas Clay. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Sylvia Temple, with choir music provided by the Quaynotes. Church decoration was by Dee Williams and Sue Jenkins, of Lawrenny, and marquee decoration by Claire Williams, of Llanreath. Mulled wine and mince pies were served outside the church, and following the wedding, a reception was held at Heywood Mount, Tenby. The couple are currently honeymooning in Canada and Florida, and will be making their home in Marshfield, Cardiff.
