A family from Summerhill have had two new additions to their family - and both on the same day! For sisters Clare and Emma Wilson both gave birth to bouncing babies on January 12 at Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest.
Seventeen-year-old Emma's son, Adam David Rhys was the first to be born, making his arrival into the world at 1.40 am, weighing in at 6lbs 14oz.
Not wanting to miss out on the celebrations, Clare's daughter, Sophie Rebecca was born later in the day at 4.30 pm. She weighed in at 7lbs 11/2oz.
"Both babies are doing really well, but they were well overdue and it seems as if they were waiting for each other," smiled 21-year-old Clare, who lives with her partner Carl and eldest daughter Lauren at Serpentine Gardens, Tenby.
Clare and Emma are the daughters of Sandra and Keith Wilson, of The Lanterns, Summerhill Park.
