Two sisters from Pembroke Dock admitted stealing items from supermarkets in the area when they appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates this week.

Twenty-two-year-old Kelly Louise Rees, of Castle Street, Pennar, pleaded guilty to taking goods from Tesco to the value of £20.41 on June 12.

Miss Rees also admitted a charge of stealing a DVD valued at £10.99 from Asda on May 2, while her older sister 23-year-old Tina Ann Rees, of Meyrick Street, also pleaded guilty to stealing DVD's valued at £17.98 from the same store on the same date.

Magistrates gave Tina Rees a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered her to pay costs of £85.

A decision on Kelly Rees's case was delayed by magistrates as they called for a report to be presented to the court on the defendant by a probation service officer.
