Begelly Golden Age Club has started the new year in style with a visit from members of 'Sister Act'.

They included Mother Superior (Sheila John), nuns Scolastica (Betty Caswell,) Maria (Jean Conway), Cecilia (Pat Green) and Bernadette (Gwenda Howells), along with Father O'Leary (Harold James) and Brother Ted (Stan Caswell), who gave an excellent afternoon's entertainment, backed up by the club's own 'Golden Oldies', Audrey and Ducan Hilling and Brian (Shonnie) Davies.

The club has now been running for almost 40 years, starting in Begelly Church Hall, before moving to the Begelly Arms and then to Kilgetty Community Centre, where it still meets every other Thursday afternoon and now has a membership of 60 people.
