The 25th anniversary RNLI Castlemartin Range walk/run and novelty dog show takes place this Sunday, August 21.

Rugby legends Shane Williams and Ryan Jones will be taking part and starting the event this year.

Taking part, training for Ironman Wales, will be David Jones, of Princes Gate Water. David celebrates 25 years of his Pembrokeshire company this year. David is well-known, having raised over £150,000 with his ‘Daiathlon’ fundraising athletic events with family and friends.

Martyn Phillips, Welsh Rugby Union CEO, and Haverfordwest businessman, Clr. Mark Edwards, training for Ironman Wales 2016, with Shane and David, will be testing the range terraine too.

Join them all at Newton Tower, near St. Govan’s, Castlemartin, from 10 am onwards.

The novelty dog show starts at 10.30 am, sponsored and judged by Billa Schleicher MRCVS, of All Pets Vetcare, Milford Haven. Pet Nutrition prizes are sponsored again this year by John Burns BVMS MRCVS, of Burns Pet Nutrition, Kidwelly.

The location is unique and the scenery breathtaking. All facilities are available on the site courtesy of the British Army, who also plan the route. A barbecue, teas and refreshments will be served from 10 am. Breakfast on the range maybe? What could be better. The organisers look forward to making your day supporting the RNLI an enjoyable one.
