Sssh! David Jenkins, a Year Nine pupil at Saundersfoot's Netherwood School, raised £100 for the Noah's Ark Appeal for the Children's Hospital of Wales, by being sponsored to keep silent for a whole day.
The school also boosted the appeal's coffers by a further £200 with a recent 'mufti' day.
