There were some showstopping performances from members of Pembrokeshire YFC at the Royal Welsh Show.
Stealing the show were the rugby sevens winners from Hermon YFC, who battled through two tough pool matches and overcame Brecknock in a showpiece final in front of a large crowd in the cattle ring on Wednesday afternoon.
As an added bonus, Tomi Jones was named man-of-the-match.
Also taking home some impressive silverware was Non Thorne, of Tiers Cross YFC, who won the under 21 section of the Hereford cattle stockjudging.
There were a string of other noteable placings for the county's members, including seconds for Fishguard YFC in the On the News competition, Eglwyswrw YFC in the Fire Safety Roadshow, and Llawhaden YFC in the Customise Challenge. Clynderwen YFC's recycled garden band was placed third, along with the club's men's tug of war team, which helped the county to third place overall in the tug of war standings. Third placings were also awarded to Llysyfran YFC in the woodwork competition and South Pembs in YFC Factor.
