PICTURED is six-year-old Olivia Vanner, of Pembroke, who has enjoyed plenty of success in recent weeks at some of the shows held in the county. Olivia's impressive achievements started off on August 1 at Pembroke Show, where she won first prize demonstrating her craft skills by making crispie cakes, a decorated gingerbread man and a monster made out of vegetables and fruit. Next up was Martletwy Show where she won in the under six category and was also overall joint winner with Katie Harries for most points won in show in the children's section, 16 and under. A pupil at Lamphey School and also a member of the little Brownies Rainbows, Olivia's final success of the summer came at Clynderwen on August 25 when she again took first prize in her category.
