A MINI-exhibition highlighting the role of women in Pembrokeshire's recent history is on display in Haverfordwest.
The unique archive of women's material includes information and photographs about suffragettes from Pembroke Dock and the Voluntary Aid Detachment from Manorbier - as well as information about Dorcas Russan, who signed up as a Merchant Seawoman and was awarded medals posthumously.
It also includes a Nursing Association Minute Book from Johnston and Rosemarket.
The display follows last September's successful Local Studies Fair Week organised by the county council's cultural services department and the Affiliation of Local History Societies.
As part of the week, the Women's Archive Wales held a Roadshow at Haverfordwest Library and members of the public were invited to dig-out ephemera to share with the archive and its history experts.
These included photographs, scrapbooks, old news cuttings and logbooks - anything that helped to shine a light on the social conditions and achievements of women in the past.
The roadshow was so well-supported that the archive has now created a mini-display in the Foyer at Haverfordwest Library that will run until the end of February.
The display enables everyone to view a selection of the local treasures that were uncovered and also to find out more about the work of the archive.
