Author announces release of debut book: Featuring memories and fantasies from author Sharon Stevens’ life, ‘Poems and Adventures’ (published by AuthorHouse UK) is a collection of short stories and poetry written for the young and the young at heart. It transports readers to the world of fantasy and make believe to provide an enjoyable escape.

Having written short stories and poems since she was a child, Stevens decided to put a collection of them together to share with the masses.

Her hope is that ‘Poems and Adventures’ provides readers with the same peace and enjoyment she experience while writing.

Beautiful flowers and Roses like you

Aren’t easily found, or easily blue.

They shine like the sun, they glow like the moon

But just like the flowers, they leave us too soon.

So shine like the flower, and remember you’re loved

Not just here on earth, but from the heavens above.

The love that you give and the strength in your heart

Will shine like the stars, and never depart

Find strength and comfort, from the ones that you love

About the Author

Sharon Stevens is a mature woman with a wide range of life experience. She has spent time in the army, has been a cub leader for over 10 years, and is a volunteer in her hometown. This is her first book.
