On Monday, at 7 pm, in the Queen's Hall, Narberth, the SEN Parents Support Group will join with Mike Charles, a leading specialist in education law from Sinclairs Solicitors for an evening information seminar.

As a group, they have become increasingly concerned that a great number of parents with children that have special educational needs do not know where to turn for help, and find themselves not knowing what support their children should be entitled to receive. They also find in many cases that children who are diagnosed as having special educational needs do not then get sufficient or appropriate support.

As a group, they feel strongly that every child should have the right to a proper education and the opportunity to reach his or her potential, and with this in mind, Mike Charles from Sinclairs Solicitors, an educational law specialist, will join them to provide professional help and take part in a question and answer session.

The evening will be free of charge, very informal and it is a great opportunity for the parents of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire to ask questions and get honest helpful answers.

For more information, the local contact is Mrs. Christine White and she can be contacted on 01994 240146 or by e-mail [email protected]">[email protected]. Places for the seminar can be booked by contacting Christine White or Sinclairs West Wales helpline on (01834) 860198.
