It's official - the magnificent Russian tall ship 'Sedov' is currently sailing towards Pembrokeshire, where visitors will be able to board her to view her enormous decks and glimpse the living quarters of the Russian cadets who call her home!
The Tall Ships (Wales) Trust, the charity which has organised the visit with the help of Milford Haven Port Authority, said that, following the cancellation of a visit last June because of engine problems, it was pleased to hear that 'Sedov' had departed from Cornwall, and looked forward to welcoming members of the public on board during the visit.
'Sedov' will be arriving in Milford Haven at approximately 5 pm today (Friday) and will be berthed alongside the Phoenix Bowl in Milford Haven Marina.
There are still opportunities for budding sailors to join the ship on April 18 on the outward voyage to Hamburg in Germany. Sedov will sail around the Shetlands and berth in Hamburg on May 6 and the cost for this passage is £685.
