Sir,

Your excellent piece about Wayne Dickinson and his business partner reminds me of the present status of two brothers whose early education was at Tenby CP School. I refer to Shahid and Raschid Al Qwerche who lived with their parents, Major and Mrs Al Qwerche, at 23 The Norton, whilst the Major was stationed at the School of Anti Aircraft Artillery, Manorbier, during the late 1950s early 1960s. When Shahid brought his family to Tenby to show them where he grew up, he spoke to David John and myself about his current job, Deputy Commissioner of Police for Karachi - population about 15 million. His brother Raschid is a Major General in the Pakistan army and is the spokesman for President/ General Mushareef. He can be seen on the TV clips with Mushareef, and older readers should recognise him. It seems Tenby produces a fair crop of security specialists.
