During a two-day tour of Pembrokeshire last week, the Secretary of State for Wales, David Jones and Wales Office Minister, Stephen Crabb MP, visited companies in Milford Haven and Pembroke Dock continuing to support jobs and sustain growth in the area.
Day one of the visit focused on the Milford Haven estuary where ministers saw how the opportunities provided through the Welsh Government's Haven Waterway enterprise zone are enabling the area to maximise its potential as a leading energy centre.
On Friday, the focus of the two-day visit turned to supporting the growth of the tourism and SME sector in Wales. This included visits to Torquing Group at Pembrokeshire Science and Technology Park, Pembroke Dock, with a laboratory tour to see technology they develop for the Armed Forces, followed by Ledwood Engineering at Waterloo Industrial Estate, Pembroke Dock.
