Brecon Motor Club will host and organise the second nd Brecon Beacons Classic Motor Show on Sunday, August 2, with the Brecon and Radnor Express (a sister paper of the Observer) continuing to sponsor the event.

Taking place once again at the Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centre at Libanus, Powys, the showground provides stunning views toward Pen-y-Fan, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom south of Snowdon. Family friendly facilities at the Visitor Centre include a restaurant, well-stocked shop and a children's play area.

The inaugural event last year was a day to remember for classic car enthusiast and families alike, with over 100 vehicles on display, including sports cars, American cars, rally cars and vintage tractors. The friendly atmosphere of the show encourages visitors to mingle with the owners of the vehicles and to improve their knowledge about motoring history. The event will also feature stalls and displays.

Awards for the 'Best Car in Show' and 'Best Bike in Show' will be made before the close of the event.

This year's event will raise money for the 'Brecon Dial-a-Ride' service operated by the Brecon & District DisABLEd Club - a registered charity, number: 519457.

Entries are invited from the owners of veteran, vintage, classic, sports and prestige cars and motorcycles. Historic commercial vehicle, tractors and farm implements are also welcome.
