I have been trying to find on behalf of my wife two of her best friends who used to live in Pembroke and attend the Pembroke Comprehensive School in 1979 onwards.

My wife's name at the time was Caroline Pearson and was at the school from 1979-1982 when unfortunately she had to move back north to Blyth with her family. Caroline's best friends were Sylvia Thomas and Carol White.

We have tried various routes such as the website Friends re-united, local telephone directories, contacting the school to see if they have any records or last known addresses etc., but all this to no avail.

Hopefully, in the Sun newspaper next Wednesday there will be a message in the 'Where are they now' column.

We thought that being a local paper you could place an article in one of your columns or help us trace Sylvia and Carol, because I know that if I can trace them, it would make my wife's year.

If you decide to help us, this would be fantastic and would really be a great help.
