A seal with a 'yellow hat' on was washed up on North Beach, Tenby, at approximately 9.25 pm on Saturday. Mr Terry Leadbetter from Milford Seal Hospital was called and attended. The seal was identified as being one released in Cornwall on May 24. The 'yellow hat' is a sonar device placed on released seals to track their movements and causes no distress or harm. The seal was removed from the beach and taken to the Seal Hospital at Milford Haven, where it will be monitored and released back into the wild.
