As part of their ASDAN Awards and Youth Achievement Awards, eight young members of the Tanyard Youth Project in Pembroke enjoyed a trip on the Tenby Seal Safari last week.
It was a spectacular day and they were treated to a highly informative tour by the boat's skipper, Mark Hicks.
They saw many species of birds and of course lots of seals and were told about the history and geology of the area.
The young people will use their photographs and new knowledge as part of their project work.
Fern Lewis, manageress of the Seal Safari, said: "Pembrokeshire is a fantastic place and the Seal Safari is a great way to help young people appreciate the beauty of the National Park and learn something about their coastline."
John Heffernan, Tanyard volunteer co-ordinator, added: "It was a really great experience for these young people and I'd like to thank Fern and Mark for giving us such an enjoyable and interesting trip."
