PICTURED are two of Tenby's Sea Cadets - O/C Charlie Tattersall and Cadet Matthew Harries holding their certificates for power boating, which were recently gained following a week's course at Jupiter Point in Cornwall.

They both gained their RYA Level 2 qualification in displacement and planning craft and are now able to take charge of some of the unit's power boats.

Their success has prompted other cadets to go on the same course later in the year and they hope to return with the same qualification.

The unit always welcomes young people who wish to have fun, gain new skills and qualifications, so anyone interested can visit the unit on the harbour, on a Tuesday or Thursday evening, and see what the Sea Cadets is all about.
