Well-known coastal ecologist and photographer John Archer-Thompson will be the guest speaker at the next event organised by the Friends of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and will take as his subject Pembrokeshire Birds.

Mr. Archer-Thompson will illustrate how sea birds are adapted to their way of life and how they are coping with their marine environment.

The speaker worked at Dale Fort since 1982 and only recently retired from his post as assistant head of the study centre.

Now a freelance coastal ecologist, photographer and writer he, along with his wife, has published a general guide to people interested in photography within the national park.

The talk will take place on Thursday, November 6, at Uzmaston Village Hall starting at 7.30 pm.
