A child's scooter was stolen from outside Spar Stores, Saundersfoot, at approximately 2.30 pm on Saundersfoot.

It seems that scooters are now a popular mode of transport for young people and police ask owners to ensure when leaving them unattended that they are in a safe and secure place.

"Try to ensure that scooters are engraved or permanently marked with postcodes," said a police spokesman.
