Rotary International have a scheme to fill aquaboxes, which are water containers, complete with a kit to purify many times the volume of the boxes from impure water to water fit for drinking. These boxes are transported to disaster areas such as earthquakes, floods and other disasters.
Besides the water purification kit, the boxes contain other useful items such as nappies, toiletries and articles of clothing which are all useful in disaster situations.
The boxes shown have been filled by children from Templeton, Tavernspite,Whitland and Dyffryn Taf schools.
