SCHOOL governors are reminded that they have a chance to discuss local issues with the new county council cabinet member responsible for children and young people at a meeting of the Pembrokeshire Federation of Governing Bodies on Monday, October 18, at 7 pm, at County Hall, Haverfordwest. Clr. Islwyn Howells and Mr. Gerson Davies, director of education and community services, will be on the panel along with Anne Robertson from Governors Wales. Anne will be able to answer questions on topical issues which are relevant to school governors across Wales. This will be an open forum and all school governors are invited to attend and put questions. There will be plenty of time for discussion. Refreshments will be available from 6.45 pm.
