TY HAFAN Children's Hospice in Wales received a financial boost from Tenby Infants School last week, with a donation of £240. Teacher Julie Hurlow and parent at the school Alison Luly were on hand to present £110 of the gift, after taking part in the recent Ty Hafan 'Zip- glide Challenge' on Tenby's North Beach, which raised £17,000 in total. After holding two non-uniform days, a further £130 was raised by the school to present to Rob Taylor, event manager and regional appeals organiser for Ty Hafan, who said: "I'd like to thank the school for supporting the charity on behalf of all the families at Ty Hafan, who rely on the kindness and generosity of local organisations for funding."
