Although the first of this year's two Summer Spectaculars has been hailed as one of the best ever, Tenby Round Table are not ones to rest on their laurels and are aiming to make the second of their annual events this Sunday even better.
Always one of the major highlights of the Tenby summer scene, the first event attracted thousands of locals and visitors throughout the day, and Table chairman Simon Ronowitz is promising more fun and entertainment this Sunday.
"My fellow Tablers and all our volunteers worked tremendously hard, both in the build up to, and during, the event, and I must thank them, and all our sponsors, for all their efforts," he said. "I must also thank everyone in and around the harbour for their tolerance in allowing us to stage the events. We raised a magnificent amount for charity last event.
"The weather could not have been better and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the good spell of weather will continue this Sunday because we've got an even bigger programme packed full of fun for all the family."
Local waiter Claudio will again kick off the spectacular with his dazzling display of golf tricks, while the programme will also include the Bradley Bear Roadshow courtesy of main sponsors Kiln Park, local DJ 'Wacky' Wayne Wharton, who is guaranteed to keep the party atmosphere bouncing, and the ever-popular Broga Rince with their fleet-footed display of Irish dancing.
Tenby Coastguard and Tenby RNLI will be putting on an impressive display of their rescue skills, while aviator Brian Lecomber, one of the highlights of the last spectacular, will again be turning all eyes skyward as he puts his little plane through all manner of death-defying aerobatics above the natural amphitheatre of North Bay. For the second spectacular there again be no fewer than three live bands. Not only do the Rain Kings and Talisman make a welcome return, but this Sunday's event sees KoKoMo making their debut with their California surfing sound.
The bands will keep the party atmosphere throbbing until the traditional climax of the event, a spectacular firework display choreographed and co-ordinated once again by Joe and Richard Cameron, of Flameburst FX.
The event begins at 3 pm with plenty to see and do for all the family, including side shows and stalls managed by local charities, bouncy castles, face painting, balloon modelling, refreshments, including pig roasts, burger stalls and a licensed bar, and much, much more.
"There will be plenty going on throughout the day, just come along, join in the fun and help us make this a bumper year for a lot of worthy charities," Simon added.
