There was a kidnapping at Pembroke Carnival on Saturday.
But thankfully, it was not as dramatic and serious as it may sound, as local charity fundraiser Peter Kraus was performing one of his annual events for a good cause.
And those kidnapped by Peter (dressed as Henry VII) were none less than rugby stars from the Scarlets side.
Peter explained: "I must say I was not quite sure at Pembroke Carnival how things were going to turn out for me with the proposed kidnapping of three tall lads and lots of muscle.
"I quietly approached their vehicle by foot from behind and approached the driver saying that I believe that he had three passengers on board who were under arrest.
"I then, one by one, had them taken out of the vehicle and a rope placed around each player in order for everyone to see who the victims were.
"I then proceeded by foot through the town centre and finally reached the Pembroke Rugby Club where they were placed into stocks - what a challenge and it was so hot."
Added Peter: "I loved every minute of it and I hope everyone else felt the same way.
"May I take this opportunity to thank the Scarlets for firstly coming down and secondly being fantastic sports.
"I hope that we can keep in contact in future and all I have left to say is 'Scarlets, have a fantastic season ahead and thank you for everything. We are all very proud of you'."
And he concluded: "If you can help us in any way possible do anything for the Children's Ward at Withybush Hospital try and help us raise another £37,000 to build the children's outside play park. Our target is £60,000, so far we have raised £23,000. It would be fantastic if we could get the play park open by the end of September. Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart."
