Ladies from Pembroke Borough Townswomen's Guild with the one-twentieth-of-a-mile of knitting to be added for the Guinness world record attempt for the world's longest scarf (currently 20 miles). The lengths of knitting will then be made up into blankets for a Third World charity. The idea was born to raise funds for Ty Hafan, who will be co-ordinating the knit from all around Wales, at the same time raising funds in sponsorship for the hospice, £50 having been forwarded by Pembroke Guild.
