The evening started with Sue Baldwin from Tenby Museum telling all about Tourism in Tenby, followed by Martin Hurlow who kept the audience captivated with tales of his Silent World renovations. Clive Webb gave an entertaining talk on the history of Tenby fire brigade, with input from Dickie Mint in the audience.

During the interval, bread, cheese and wine was provided courtesy of The Plantagenet, The Qube, The Baytree, Trefloyne, Top Joes, The Mews, The Buccaneer, The Mooring, Boutique, Four Seasons and Mr. Tibor Peter, from Tenby Market, Sainsbury's, Tenby Deli, Tenby House, Hope and Anchor and Princes Gate Water. Raffle prizes from T. P. Hughes, Folly Farm and committee members.

The evening resumed with Roland Grigg's tales of local characters and Tenby slang, followed by an extremely informative 'trip' round the Bells of St. Mary's with Ruth Webb. The evening was rounded off with Laurie Dale regaling everyone with his tales of Tenby during the war, while Kathryn John, nee Lewis, stepped in for her father - Howard Lewis - and gave an extremely interesting history of Sergeants Lane.

Grateful thanks go to all who took part, all sponsors and the enthusiastic and supportive audience. In addition, thanks to Joe Lewis who did a recording.
