The end of January will see the latest charity challenge from Saundersfoot’s ‘Team Littlefoot’ drawing to a close.

Since the middle of October the team members - Debbie Ludlow (owner of Little and Large Lite Bites Cafe) and fellow Saundersfoot Strollers Lynn Knibbs and Lyn Sandall, have been out walking each day to try and achieve 700 miles before Lyn’s 70th birthday at the end of the month - hence 700@70!

With a combined mileage of over 2,100 miles, this has proved to be very challenging for the team, especially when on several days we have been walking in atrocious weather conditions and also because of Covid 19 restrictions most of the 700 miles have had to be completed with the team walking on their own.

Much easier and more sociable when you can walk as a group; but nevertheless they have plodded on!

Debbie, Lynn and Lyn are doing the challenge to try and raise money for the Get The Boys a Lift - a fantastic local charity based in Dew Street in Haverfordwest where anyone with mental health and social problems can visit their drop in centre/cafe (due to Covid restrictions not open at present) to get free access to counselling help and support.

So, if anyone feels they would like to support ‘Team Littlefoot’ either give a donation to Debbie, Lynn or Lyn or visit their justgiving site (justgiving.com/crowdfunding/ teamlittlefootgtbal) sand make your pledge that way.
