Saundersfoot’ Sensory Garden makeover is coming along nicely!
A spokesperson for Saundersfoot Community Council shared: “Thanks to support from the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, things are really taking shape.
“New signs in a tactile font and braille will be going up soon, and we’ve started creating different ‘senses zones’ - including a brand-new water feature in the sound area.
“A huge thank-you to Mrs Eva Rich for her advice on the tactile and braille wording, and to all the residents and visitors who’ve shared their thoughts on accessibility and sensory ideas. Your feedback really is shaping the garden.”

Despite poor weather, the SMELT group have been able to continue work on the garden’s heritage project, paying tribute to the seaside village’s coal mining past.
