Saundersfoot switches on the Christmas spirit today (Friday) as the annual St. Nicholas Market brightens up the centre of the village.
The three-day free event - featuring food, drink, gifts, crafts and other attractions - will be held undercover in a sea-front marquee.
And today not only sees the market's first day, but the unveiling of a new lighting feature for the nearby Sensory Gardens.
Following on from the energy-saving theme displayed by the lights throughout the centre of Saundersfoot, these exciting lights - alongside the village's tallest-ever Christmas tree - will be switched on at 6 pm.
Said Phil Odley, chairman of market organisers, Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism: "We've joined with Saundersfoot Community Council to invest in these new lights, and are sure they will add an extra sparkle to the festive season in the village."
The market will be open between 10 am and 8 pm today and tomorrow (Saturday) and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday, with live reindeer and Santa's grotto on the weekend. There will also be demonstrations by celebrity chefs Angela Gray and Anthony Evans.
