Darts: The A team were the only ones in action as the B had a bye. The A played at home against the Sun Inn, St. Florence. The games were all very even, but the St. Florence side sneaked home with a 6-3 victory. Highlight of the evening for the Saundersfoot side was a fine 112 finish by Peter Williams in the doubles. Well done Peter! Pool: The Narberth League side were without a game this week as the Dragon were unable to play at home. The Tenby League side played host to the Sun Inn, Tenby, and recorded a resounding 6-1 victory, with Keith Hallem also taking the Masters. Football: As the 1st team game against Hundleton was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch, two of their players strengthened the Second XI. The second team were at home to Hundleton Seconds and demolished them with a 10-1 victory. Goals came from Simon Stanford (3), Tom Spencer (2), Danny Caine (2), Paul Evans, Jason Llama and Andrew Davies. Cricket: Sunday saw the last fixtures for Saundersfoot in the Indoor League. Due to a last minute mix-up, Saundersfoot were forced to field a team one man short. In the first game they batted first and totalled 116 -4. Top scorers were Simon Stanford (33) and Chris Hawkes (28). Pembroke Dock were no match for the Saundersfoot bowlers and their innings closed on 63. In the second game, Saundersfoot played Haverfordwest A, who had no less than six county players in their squad. Haverfordwest scored 131, a daunting total. Saundersfoot openers Simon Standford and Chris Hawkes started at a gallop, scoring 32 in the first two overs, but couldn't maintain it and their innings closed on 76. Top scorers were Simon Stanford 32 not out and Chris Hawkes (27). Nets next week are at Tenby Leisure Centre 12-2 pm. All junior players are asked to attend.
