Friday night saw the long-awaited contest between the A and B teams. Things started off well for the A team when Peter Williams won the Masters and they also won the 1001. Then the wheels came off. The B team were on top form and raced into an unassailable 5-0 lead, with the A's only winning the last singles. With the B's winning two of the doubles as well, it was a difficult night for the A's as they finished 7-2 losers. Hurry back Billy, your boys are missing you!

The Tenby League side were 4-3 winners against Tenby Rugby Club. At the end of the singles, the Sports Club were losing 3-2, but they recovered to win the doubles and ran out winners. Next week they are away to the Temple Bar. The Narberth League side continued their good run with a convincing 7-2 win against Lawrenny. Unlucky Andrew Edge was the only person to lose his singles. Hard luck Edgy. Ha-ha. Next week is away to Narberth RAOB, where the club will field a weakened side due to unavailability.

The Indoor League team had their first success on Sunday. Having lost their first two games last week, they faced Fishguard with some trepidation. Batting first Fishguard were bowled out for 73. Simon Stanford had two wickets, David Dunfee had one and there were two run-outs. Saundersfoot passed the Fishguard score for two wickets, the run scorers being Dickie Parcell (24), Simon Stanford (19) and Steve Cole 19 not out. The second game of the day saw them playing a Burton team. This proved to be a too difficult task, with Burton scoring 119 all out. Saundersfoot's reply started badly, with Dickie Parcell and Steve Cole going cheaply. Only Grant Hardy (10) and Simon Stanford (31) made any headway against the Burton bowlers and their reply fell 40 runs short. Cricket nets are at Tenby Leisure Centre this Sunday from 10 am to 12 noon. All players should attend.
