POOL

The Tenby League side were without a league game this week and so organised a friendly with the 'Jeff' from the 'A' League. The Jeff proved to be too strong for the club and ran out 7-2 winners, with only Keith Hallem and Roger Stanford winning their games. They return to league action next week with a home game against the Castle, Manorbier. The Narberth League team recorded a good 7-2 victory over the Temple Bar. This result keeps them in fourth position in the 'A' League. Next Thursday sees them in action at Cresselly Cricket Club.

DARTS

Friday saw mixed results for the darts teams. The 'A' lost 5-4 to the White 'A', while the 'B' team were victorious at home to the Wanderers Rest. The scores were tied at 4-4 when Simon Stanford hit the double to win the game 5-4 for the 'B' team. Next week the club is hosting the league singles in conjunction with the Cross, Broadmoor.

FOOTBALL

Saturday proved to be a bad day for the football club. In the morning, the U12s were on the wrong side of a large defeat from local rivals Tenby. The U15s also lost to league leaders Clarbeston Road. The score was 5-2 to Clarbeston Road, with the Saundersfoot goals coming from Grant Hardy and James Whitehouse. In the afternoon, the 1st XI travelled to St. Clears, returning with a point after a 1-1 draw, the goal being scored by Tom Davies. The second team were against league leaders Clarbeston Road and suffered a 4-0 defeat.

SNOOKER

The snooker team also suffered a defeat at the hands of runaway league leaders, the Black Rabbit Club from Pembroke. Steve 'Peanut' Davies gave the Saundersfoot team a 1-0 lead, but no-one else could emulate him and they lost 4-1.

GOLF

A golf day has been arranged at the Haverfordwest Golf Club on Thursday, March 30. Members wishing to take part should see Roger for the details. Early booking is advisable as spaces could be limited. Bingo takes place on Tuesday as normal at 8 pm, the snowball now standing at £550.

DOLPHINS

Tenby Dolphins held their monthly meeting on Wednesday. The next meeting will be held in the club on Wednesday, April 12.
