Darts: The A team were the only team in action this week and they travelled away to Kilgetty RAOB. The Saundersfoot team proved too strong for the RAOB and returned home with a 6-3 victory. Pool: The Tenby League side had a bye this week. Last week saw them defeating a strong Diggers C team 4-3. The Narberth League side were away to local rivals, The Hean. Saundersfoot Club won the singles 4-2 and also the first doubles. The Hean hit back to win the last two doubles, but the result ended up 5-4 in favour of the club. Congratulations to Emma Cleevely who has made it through to the ladies singles final in the Narberth League. She is also in the final of the Tenby League ladies singles. Well done Emma. Football: The 1st team were away to Johnston and returned with a 1-1 draw. The 2nd team played Solva. After leading 1-0 for some time, Solva struck back in the second half and finished the game as 4 -1 winners, but they had help as Saundersfoot managed to score two own goals. Fishing: The next match is on Sunday and will be held on Pendine beach. The sponsor is Carl French Electronics. Signing on is at Pendine slip between 10.45 and 11 am. Fishing takes place 11.30-3.30 pm, with the weigh-in at the slip and the scales closing at 4 pm prompt. £100 first prize, £50 second prize. Golf day: A golf day will be held at Haverfordwest Golf Club on Wednesday, March 21. There will be coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, with tee-off at 11 am. Afterwards there will be presentation of prizes and a two-course meal. The day is open to all members. See Roger at the bar for details.
