Twenty-three anglers fished in the rover match on Sunday. Despite the bad weather conditions, four fish were brought to the scales.

Results were: 1. Tony Ormond with a bass of 5.87kg (12lb 14oz); 2. Rob Collins with a bull huss of 4.58kg; 3. Dan Thomas with a five-bearded rockling of 0.190.

Thanks go to Dai and Mandy, of the Chemist Inn, for allowing the club to use the beer garden for the weigh-in.

Pictured are members who have achieved personal bests which are probably never to be repeated, catching bass over 10lb.

"It's very rare to catch one from the beach over 10lb, but it's happened three times in two weeks," said Tony Ormond.
