Saundersfoot Sea Angling Club held a match on Sunday, October 26, within the Tenby Open.
There was an excellent turnout of 22 competitors, about 10 per cent of all the Tenby Open anglers.
Results were: 1. Tony O'Neil with a fish of 961g (£22 and 10 points); 2. Jon Brace with a bag of 2.656kg (eight points); 3. Lee Hart with a bag of 1.75kg (six points); 4. Marie Knowles with a bag of 1.57kg (four points).
November's meeting was held at Broadfield Farm, as the prizes for the August boat match, sponsored by Gerald Brace, of BB's and Janz Restaurant, were to be presented, with the results being:
1. Jon Brace (£100 and 10 points); 2. Tony Ormond (£50 and eight points); 3. Mick Tew (£20 and six points).

Sunday, November 16 - Chemist Cup, sponsored by Dai and Mandy, of The Old Chemist Inn. Sign on at The Chemist by 12.30 pm, fishing 1 - 6 pm from Tunnel Point to Perris Point, weigh-in at The Chemist by 7 pm sharp.
Sunday, November 23 - Llansteffan. Sign on at the Sports Club by 10 am, fishing 11 am to 3 pm, with the weigh in at the car park.
Sunday, December 14 - Freshwater East beach. Sign on at Freshwater East car park 11.15 - 11.30 am, fishing noon to 5 pm, with the weigh-in at the car park by 5.30 pm. This is a pegged match.
Sunday, December 21 - Flounder and Bass Rover. Sign on at the Sports Club 8.45 - 9 am, fishing 10 am to 2 pm, with the weigh in at The Captain's Table by 3 pm prompt.
Sunday, December 28 - Annual Fur and Feather at Saundersfoot Beach. Sign on at the Sports Club - we all leave for the beach at 11.30 am, fishing noon to 5 pm, with the weigh-in by 5.30 pm prompt at the Sports Club. Followed immediately by the annual raffle in the club. No points or peg for this match.

Note that different rules apply to the Night League - length of fish, usually £1 entry, prizes are £200 for first, £100 for second and £50 for third, plus all entry fees for biggest fish, with the pot going to the charity of the winner's choice.
