Sunday saw members of Saundersfoot Sea Angling Club fishing Morfa, Pendine and Ginst beaches in a match for the Waterwynch Shield. The competition was sponsored by Dai and Andrea Ormond and winner was James Canton with a bass of 1.24kg (£100 and 10 points), who was the only angler to weigh-in.

Golden Peg was John Baskerville, who didn't fish, so yet another rollover. Thanks to Jon Brace for donating prizes for the match raffle. The top 16 anglers from last season have been entered into this year's Singles Knockout, sponsored by Powells Cottage Holidays.
