SUNFLOWER COMPETITION

Pictured with their teacher Mrs. Cannell and LSA Mrs. Griffiths are class 1C winners of the tallest sunflower competition. Mrs. Cannell has just retired from Saundersfoot School after 15 happy years at the school. The pupils will be saying farewell, but not goodbye, as Mrs. Cannell will be a frequent visitor to the school in future months to help with art and reading. Pupils, parents, staff and governors wish her a restful retirement, but look forward to her visits in the months ahead.

KEEN GARDENERS

Pupils of Saundersfoot School are seen working really hard to create a school garden which they have now completed. The children all thoroughly enjoyed themselves planting various vegetables and flowers and were delighted to watch their progress over the past few months. Staff of the school would like to thank Gill Priestland, Diane Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. Cavell, the Griffin and Nixon families and FOSS. The school would also like to offer a special thanks to all the ladies from the WI who gave up many hours of their time to help the children and to anyone else who has helped in a variety of different ways. The school couldn't have done it without you!
